IMAX 3D THEATRE

IMAX 3D theatre plunges science wanderers into visually stunning educational films that span across subjects like deep-sea exploration, wildlife, prehistoric life and space missions. Screenings of acclaimed titles such as Born to Be Wild 3D, Walking on the Moon 3D, T-Rex 3D, and Island of Lemurs: Madagascar run approximately 45 minutes.

This state-of-the-art facility, and India’s first IMAX 3D theatre, delivers an unmatched cinematic experience with a giant screen and advanced acoustics, captivating audiences with compelling storytelling and dynamic visuals that bring scientific concepts to life.

PLANET EARTH PAVILION

Planet Earth Pavilion, housed in a spectacular 50-meter-wide dome, one of the largest in India features over 650 exhibits that delve into Earth’s natural systems and environmental challenges. Curious minds can explore natural disasters, disaster management and sustainability through interactive displays, simulations and hands-on experiences. Highlights include a planetarium, a coal mine replica and a children’s activity zone - all fostering a deeper understanding of ecological balance and conservation.

HALL OF SCIENCE & HALL OF SPACE

These twin attractions provide an engaging journey through the realms of science and the cosmos. The Hall of Science is an open research facility with hands-on exhibits that demonstrate principles of light, sound, motion, energy and more, encouraging experimentation and exploration.

The Hall of Space unravels the mysteries of the universe with displays on the solar system, space technology and the history of space exploration. Both halls offer immersive learning, especially for young minds eager to explore scientific phenomena in an interactive way.

ENERGY EDUCATION PARK

Those inquisitive to see how power generation takes place, Energy Education Park is your ideal destination. This section in a unique hexagonal grid showcases solar, wind, hydro, tidal, geothermal and petroleum energy sources.

The vibrant outdoor space features a solar house, wind turbine and working models that illustrate energy generation and conservation. Energy Education Park emphasizes the importance of renewable energy and encourages visitors to adopt environmentally friendly practices.

LIFE SCIENCE PARK

Life Science Park, spread across 9,000 square meters explores the intricacies of biology, evolution and ecology. It is designed to inspire curiosity about the living world and offers a hands-on approach to understanding life sciences.

The park features attractions like a walk-through dinosaur exhibit, a butterfly house, an aviary and a tissue culture lab. Inquisitive minds can also discover the fascinating world of aromatic, medicinal and ornamental plants in dedicated sections such as the Cactus, Succulent and Bonsai Corner.

AQUATIC GALLERY

Aquatic Gallery, inaugurated in 2021 is one of the largest public aquariums in India, occupying 15,000 square meters. With 68 tanks and over 11,690 aquatic animals from 188 species, it represents diverse ecosystems across Indian, Asian, African and American zones.

A key attraction is the 28-meter-long shark tunnel, offering an immersive walkthrough experience surrounded by marine life. Acquatic gallery’s state-of-the-art life support systems and interactive displays make it a favorite among marine enthusiasts.

ROBOTICS GALLERY

Robotics gallery, also launched in 2021 is the three-story exhibit that showcases 79 types of robots and demonstrates the evolution of robotics and its applications in various industries. This fascinating section immerses one and all in the world of automation, industry, healthcare and futuristic tech with its humanoid greeters, robot dance gallery and virtual and augmented reality experiences. The interactive exhibits make complex technologies easy to understand, sparking curiosity and innovation among all age groups.

NATURE PARK

Nature Park, covering over 20 lush acres, offers a peaceful blend of recreation and learning. With features such as a mist bamboo tunnel, butterfly garden, oxygen park and a children’s play area, it emphasizes biodiversity, ecological balance and nature appreciation. This green retreat complements the scientific attractions by offering serene settings for relaxation and nature-based discovery.

MUSICAL FOUNTAIN & AMPHITHEATRE

As dusk falls, the Musical Fountain dazzles visitors with a spectacular display of lights, water jets and music. Featuring 935 colored lights and 113 synchronized jets, the fountain dances to over 20 musical themes, blending art and science.

Adjacent to the Musical Fountain, a 1,200-seat amphitheatre hosts science shows, performances and cultural events. A 25-minute Multimedia Laser and Fountain Show, introduced in 2023, showcases rocket and space themes with water jets soaring up to 50 meters, enhancing the site’s appeal as a nighttime attraction. A massive 20x12-foot LED screen with over 1.8 lakh LEDs elevates the storytelling experience during these events.

THRILL RIDE SIMULATOR

For adventure enthusiasts, the 30-seat Thrill Ride Simulator offers adrenaline-pumping virtual experiences such as roller coasters, aerobatic stunts and space journeys. Combining entertainment with education, the simulator’s dynamic visuals and movements offer an exhilarating yet informative experience, making it a popular choice among all age groups.

CLIMATE CHANGE LEARNING LAB

Climate Change Learning Lab is an interactive hub designed to raise awareness about climate change, developed with support from the European Union and GIZ India. The lab serving as a knowledge and training center, features eight thematic zones covering renewable energy, climate justice, greenhouse gases and biodiversity. It includes over 100 educational displays like the Energy Balance Exhibit and a Material Recovery Facility simulation.
